FAQ

  How does GearPix work?

GearPix allows you to take a photo from its mobile app or website and have it saved and displayed in a plugin in its corresponding DAW track.

Two modes are available: locally through Wifi or over the internet and saved in the cloud.

Smaller version of your pictures are then saved inside your project for offline use and future proofness, while the original is saved (online in cloud mode, on your hard drive in local mode)) and displayed when possible.

You can also add pictures and PDFs from this website and manage your projects as well.

What happens if my subscription ends?

Your projects and pictures are still available, the apps and the plugin operate in read-only mode.

Original pictures are still downloaded and displayed in the plugin for cloud instances.

What happens if I give daw my project to someone else?

The plugin operates in read-only mode (cloud mode) and your pictures are still displayed as long as the person downloads the (free) plugin.

What happens if I transition from the Premium plan to the Basic plan?

The following changes happen:

  • Any additional users to your account are moved to read-only access.
  • You can't create more versions of your projects but still add pictures to them.

What are the terms & conditions?

You can read them here.

Can I subscribe through the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store?
